You hear the most unbelievable stuff about guns, but then again, it's no different with computers or auto mechanics or whatever.
I always like the stories about how the Russians designed their guns to fire OUR .223 rounds, but made theirs bigger so we couldn't fire their round (7.62x39) in our rifles. [Folks, do NOT try this at home!] Did you know that Remington PSSs are banned sniper rifles, made only for the military? And the SEALs use a special silenced .45 made by HK that can kill a guy at 200m UNDER WATER. It does with because it uses special titanium bullets. You don't have to aim a shotgun, because one shot will kill everyone in a 180 degree arc in front of the barrel. [b]But why worry, because all you have to do is rack the slide and any burgler would just run away/pee their pants/give up and call the cops themselves.[/b] [:\] I also know a guy who can get you some 9mm "CopKillers" (Federal NyClads) for only $5 a round. -Troy |

Just heard this one from a neighbor who's a LEO and a real nice guy.
Mattel made the original AR-15...no, not one of those Mattel made the stock stories...but Mattel made the entire rifle because it was made completly of plastic. |

I know a gun dealer who has some USA mags that work better than USGI! He must know something. I was also told by a friend of mine that a .380 is a better carry gun than a .45 because, and I quote, "You don't want to kill the guy who attacks you!" WTF?!?!?!

Let's not forget that hold over for a 75 yard shot at a deer with a slug gun is exactly one foot.

Right before I bought my AR my dad told me that the AR15 is a POS and that I would have to throw it in the trash after a week.

I asked an expert at the fun store if he thought the 1994 "assault weapon" ban would pass. He didn't just say "no" but "F*CK NO, THERE IS NO CHANCE IN HELL IT WILL".
