Heh. I just started working at Starbucks 3 days ago, and ain't that the fuckin' truth. I cannot imagine why anybody would want to spend $4 on a 16oz cup of regular Joe. "Oh, but it's Kenyan blend. It has this great tart citrus taste to it that goes great with our lemon loaf." Ok, I'll admit, after they've made me taste test everything in the store 5 times over I start to notice a differance...but until the other day I drank Folgers from a big ass can for a low ass price. Now I drink fru fru coffee for an even better price. I get a free pound of fru fru beans every week and I can drink into a coronary if I like while I'm at work, all for free. Starbucks...it's great if you don't have to pay for it. I can't believe they tip us. I appreciate the idiots that do, but there's no reason to. Thirty seconds of service with a smile is EXPECTED, not tipworthy. |
