Most
motorcycles are horrifying. Riders break bones, dislocate shoulders, get
bruised, scraped and battered. Motorcycles get bent, scratched, burned,
and wrecked. In the worst cases, riders die. But not all motorcycle
crashes are terrifying. Some are absolutely hillarious.

During the Promosport Championship race at Magny-Cours, two bikes lock together after a crash and do a little dance.

The site where I saw this has the Benny Hill theme video too, and they suggest muting the motorcycle race, and turning up Benny Hill.

The other rider looks like an Endor Stormtrooper when he comes over to the bikes.

It sucks when you go down because of someone elses crash - but that's racing.

26 years I have worked in motorcycle roadracing and that is absolutely the most batshit crazy crash I have ever seen.

I'm missing how that guy low sided so fucking hard.

Did he just yank on the handlebars as hard as he could?

I mean it's not like he was already leaned over and went a little to far or goosed it or something.  Went from going straight to just laying the fucker down.

Retard move. Far to much brake for the conditions as the track appears to damp....possibly drying from a passing shower.

I think you're right.  I can see the ass end dip down a little bit before he goes sideways.  Probably locked up the rear wheel and lost it.

He locked the front wheel by grabbing a hand full of front brake

I can't believe he did that.

I think the track was a bit damp, or he forgot to plugin his front tire warmer.

Looks like he tried to slow down too quick and locked his front up.

Front brake lock up on a wet surface.

"You got that? Or do I need to call another bus full of retards."

How come those things don't have cable based throttle cut off lanyards?   Woulda saved both of them a lot of trouble.

Huh? How come we don't put traction control on everything? Once you place your ass on a superbike, if your skill, and then your suit can't save you, nothing will.
"This message brought to you by a guy who wrecked a 10 second bike on a country road."

ETA I get your meaning, like jet skis, but bikes don't typically leave a rider unharmed and miles from shore.

They have tip-over sensors standard that will cut the engine.

Some people disable them. Every time I have tripped mine, turning the ignition off/on was not that big of an issue, either because I have crashed, or came very damn close in a near high side that I managed to hang on to.

How much did the sensor affect traction after shutting the engine down during extreme lean? I would think it would cause a high-side?
Or at least a heavy loss of traction?
