Just popped up on me facebook feed. 64 Soldiers arrested in a cocaine drug dealing ring. |

There goes the MP battalion.
Or not. Mech infantry is basically MP, however. |
|
|
Got a buddy going there soon, I'll be sure to forward that to him

They noticed that the soldiers were cleaning the base at 3:00am everyday day.

Military crime is always full of lulz.
My favorite story ever was the airman at Hill AFB in Utah, who tried to sneak an F-16 engine out of the main gate on a trailer, to sell to some Russians or whoever the hell it was. I mean, you have to admit, that took some balls. (Yes, you read that right. "Sneak." "F-16 Engine." "Out The Main Gate" in front of the base police). |

There really should be a zero tolerance drug abuse policy!
Where is Ronnie when you need him? Will Sessions be our new Reagan? |
|
They must have done their last deployment with some SEALs...

Grandmaster Flash - White Lines A million magic crystals, painted pure and white
A multi-million dollars, almost overnight Twice as sweet as sugar, twice as bitter as salt And if you get hooked, baby, it's nobody else's fault, so don't do it! View Quote |

To be fair, Ft Stewart is a shithole. I've been there several times. Ever since the strip clubs in Hinesville stopped showing titties, things got worse. I can't remember the name of the bar down the road from the main gate, but they had a kickass deal on Thursday's $9 at the door got you a mug and it was free to fill all night long. Dink till you drown, or thirsty Thursdays!
ETA: The bar was called Hurricanes and Candy was our favorite bartender. |

Do they blare the Dog Faced Soldier song every morning before PT at Stewart?

We aren't on lockdown. I ended up not being involved after the raid was rescheduled but from what I'm aware the arrested were all chemical or infantry units.

I keep telling people that line infantry is better than SEALs at everything...

I used to have the drug dogs go through the barracks 3-4 times a week at random. The first year discharged 49 airmen. I don't like druggies of any kind working on aircraft. The air crews appreciated it too. Nail their asses to the wall.
