I just saw it this past weekend, I liked it. I honestly have never seen or heard the real David Frost, but I think they did a great job in casting Nixon-the guy may not have the exact twin looks, but he def. sounded like him IMO. He did have some physical features that resembled Nixon, but the voice was what sold me-he probably got cast because he could talk like him.
The movie kind of more or less makes the interviews to be more of a "battle" between two men, one extremely powerful and looking to clear his name, and the other an English TV star who's career is on the line and failing miserably, and these interviews are all he has left to save himself. I wasn't alive back when this was going on, but I can imagine that it may have been that way in real life. One guy wanting to save his career and nail this man who many thought got away with what he did, and the other man trying to clear his name and leave the "exile" he was in, so to speak.
I had to drive an hour away to a mega cinema to see it, if you can see it locally, I'd reccommend it. Otherwise, wait for the DVD.
