Hi, do you see the square or round front sight post best?  I can see the AK rnd sight post better than my wider square AR post.  In service rifle matches does the standard square post have to be used?
Also what is that sight blackening stuff that's used by comp shoters?  Thanks  JB

Tapered blade.

Nope, it's up to you.

A carbide lamp
or a miners lamp.
You can also use the
spray on stuff
but it goes on a bit thicker.

If you shave the front sight to a .055" blade and reduce the rear aperature to about the same, you can see the front sight post and target nice and clear. Old Creedmore trick.
You can get the AR parts from Brownell's.
