A mild-mannered German teacher who bravely disarmed a former student with mere words to end a school massacre in April said on Thursday he regretted being the hero because he has since become a local hate figure.

Robert Heise, who stopped the teenage gunman after 16 teachers and students in the school in Erfurt were killed, said criticism from the principal for giving interviews and doubts from police about his account had prompted a backlash and left him bitter.

A quote from one teacher states that she wished he would be a quite hero. She hid in her locked office.

The bitch shouldn't be criticizing somebody who probably saved some lives while she was cowering under her desk. Not that hiding was a bad thing for her. She should just shut the hell up and be glad she lived.

They also hate him because he has a pair of big ones and is willing to take matters into his own hands. He isn't a cowering sheeple like all the others.
