Iran condemns Virginia Tech shooting

Iran on Tuesday condemned a gunman's rampage the previous day at Virginia Tech university which left 33 people dead and was the deadliest shooting rampage in modern US history.

"While condemning this [attack], [Iran] expresses condolences with the nation and the families of those killed," Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini said in a statement, a copy of which was made available to The Associated Press.

"Attacking innocent people, irrespective of their race and nationality, is contrary to divine and human values no matter which group or person carries out such an act under any name," the Iranian statement said.

Despite lack of diplomatic relations between the two, Iran has in the past condemned violence and terrorist attacks in the United States, including the September 11, 2001 attacks, the deadliest on US soil.

Says the country that promises mass terrorist attacks if anyone tries to mess with their Allah-given right to nuclear bombs, and is currently blowing up our troops either directly or through funding of terrorist attacks in Iraq, and gave the orders to blow up our Marines in Lebanon, and...

The only reason they were mad about 9/11 was bin Laden toppled their proud Americans Killed By Terrorism high score by a wide margin. Been falling all over themselves trying to make up for it in Iraq ever since.

Iran can stick their empty condolences and condemnations right back up their ass where they came from.

Have to to keep the field level. As far as the ROPers or frog condolences I could'nt give a shit but the left kicks off thier agenda before the bodies are cold so must we.

I lived in France, and like America it has a very vocal and visiable left wing that controls the media and has lots of political pull.
