Problem 1. Remanufactured .223 55 FMJ FTE in AR Pistol. Brown Bear 55 FMJ worked perfectly, wondering if anyone else had same problems. I also noticed that the brass where the ejector port grabs onto was damaged like the brass was softer or substandard. This has happened on another AR15 Pistol as well with same ammo. Problem 2. Ordered 500 rounds of 45ACP in stock on 4/13 on 4/19 order was "awaiting Fulfillment". Emailed and response was they are growing so much they can't keep up. I then cancelled order. Ordered 500 UMC Remington case at 1AM this morning and was emailed that it shipped at 3PM all for $150 delivered from outdoor unlimited. Any tips on bulk ammo with fast ship appreciated.

Try ordering off of site sponsors and vendors. They are all pretty well vetted by the membership here, and in the rare case that you do have an issue that extends beyond their CS, you can usually get it solved on the forum.

Friend of mine gave me a few boxes of Freedom Munitions XTP's and FMJ in both .380 and 9mm it was garbage stovepipes like crazy in Glock 42, G19, and Canik.

I don't fuck with Freedom Munitions. Problem solved before it begins.

I only buy 165gr 9mm bullets from them for reloading. Their 308 ammo worked fine but I stay away from their pistol ammo.

Just say no to freedom munitions. View Quote Even with the cheapest factory .380 I can find this pistol has been 100%. Only Freedom has the issues. Just go to SGAmmo. They always have good prices and reasonable shipping. |

I made the mistake of buying 2k rounds of 9mm from them about 3 years ago. It stovepipes in my G19 on occasion, and shoots about 10 inches low at 50 ft. At the same time I also bought 500 rds of 45acp which was fine except for a couple of duds.
Both new, not reman. Probably won't buy any more. |
|
Keep buying more of it to see if it gets better.
Or, buy from Sgammo. |

Freedom has a brass exchange program. Reloaders send in their worn out brass for credit. Then Freedom reloads it and sells it.

To those that report problems, is it the reman'd or the new that you are experiencing the issues with? I ask because I've gone through almost 10k rounds of the new 9mm with out an issue. I've shot it in , M&P's, MP5 and Scorpion.
Don't doubt that those reporting problems are having them, just trying understand why the difference in experiences. |

Call their customer service and ask for Brenda. Maybe she'll tell you to fuck off too.

That was my underpowered FM 300 Blackout donated to The Chopping Block. I believe that they are crap, and attempt to not blow people's rigs up by underpowering their ammo to create fewer too-extreme peaks.

Even Freedom Munition's new round are meh. Bought new 115gr 9mm once, never again.

How can you guys recommend SGA when they don't force you to pay for shipping insurance?
I don't want to be told the facts by SGA, I want them to make my decisions for me like I am an idiot. I'm off to post bad about them!!!! I only buy from SGA. Therefore I have no FReedom ammo problems I guess |
|
I bought 100 rounds of their reman 175 OTM .308, and it was horrible.
Half wouldn't chamber in my 700 and what would shot horribly. They refused to send me a return slip for it, I didn't even ask for a refund. |
|
I bought 1500 rounds of 45 230gr remanufactured before I read of their issues. Luckily I am 800 rounds in without a single issue.
|
|
I'm also sold on sgammo.
Can't beat 'em, and since they're only in the next state, ship times are very fast. They have never done wrong by me. |
|
Why do people keep buying from Freedom Munitions? Do they not do any research before buying new ammo.
Then there are the fanboys who think it's the greatest thing ever because they are saving $0.01 a round. It's only a matter of time before it blows up/locks up one of their guns. |

I used to order cases a few years ago and then the quality just changed one day. Stove pipe city. Sad. Now my new cheap ammo is federal aluminum from Wal-Mart. |

Tear the ammo down and just keep the brass if you reload or just dispose of all it. I wouldn't really want to shoot through squib producing ammo. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

I was at a Gun show and bought their new 40 Cal 165 FMJ New and they worked flawlessly. Being new to the AR15 Platform recently, with the exception of my service M16 years ago, I rolled the dice thinking it would be ok. A mistake I will only make once.
