Hey guys. I've read the book Autumn by David Moody before but it's being offered free in a digital format at the website at the end of the post. It's not just fan fiction as the book (and it's three sequels) have been publish and are being sold on Amazon. It is even being made into a movie next year (hopefully). So If you would like to read a fresh take on Zombies, for free check out the link. My paperback sequel arrive tomorrow I'll update once I've read them. BTW its the whole book not just a tease.

My wife thought it was the best zombie book she read. She's the one who encouraged me to buy the sequels. I hope it does get made into a good movie there is a lot of suspense in the book. ESPECIALLY if your a survival forum hiding freak (like me).

I'm twenty or so chapters into this thing.  Yawn.  All these folks do is talk, talk and more talk then get scared of their own shadows.  The Brits are a different type from us for sure.

I read the autumn series it was well written but a tad slow. Its a different spin on the Zombie thang. No magic or Stephen King nonsense but a good read, not alot of action

I liked it because of the lack of action. I find action in horror writing is hard to follow. It's like watching football on the radio. I liked it. Now if you want action read The Walking Dead books 1-3 Kirkman, Adlard, & Rathburn. Much better medium for expressing action.

Why the F*CK would I want to read a book about zombies?

That's almost as bad as reading a book about......checkers....or something.

I read lots of books, and I watch zombie movies. I'm just saying zombie books are lame.
