There has been considerable conjecture in past month's over FrankSquid's service in the Navy of the USA. Well, it turns out the truth has been revealed. His name is Frank and he makes his living selling squid. Lots of squid. He was never in the Navy. BUT, he did train Richard Marcinko to become a S.E.A.L. He began by whipping Mr. Marcinko's butt, then he trained him in proper martial arts techniques. All of RM's success in combat and war making are due to the fine instruction by FrankSquid. Who'da thunk it? Also, Frank took a full week's vacation and worked his own butt off to help in making the BRC a huge success. He is an all-around nice guy, and my wife voted him the "best looking guy there." She has a couple pics to prove it. She showed them to her co-worker last night and I overheard her comments. [;)]

I bet he was doing classified stuff in the Navy.... [;)]
PS Sorry I did not get to buy you that Coke Frank. And I appreciate the effort you put out to help out the organizers. People like you are what made it a success!

One of the fundamental truths of the universe is that there isn't anything that cannot be improved with the addition of pirates, ninjas, midgets or monkeys.

Did anybody think to ask him about possible service in the German Navy? Seems perfectly reasonable that a man named FRANK would serve in the German Navy.

Be nice and don't piss him off, he's from New Jersey. You might just dissapear or end up in a box of squid.

No I know for a fact he sends secret messages in Squids back and forth from Long Island. He is under strict orders not to share his true job title. After all he would have to kill you after he told you.

A fine man indeed. It was a pleasure to meet you Frank. BTW think we'll get the result's of the IDPA match from PASA posted? We had a blast at PASA Saturday. [smoke]

I already knew (from his LEGP range reports) that he was an excellent and knowledgeable shooter.......which he proved by consistently hitting those 200-450 yd targets with the 50!....yeah,I was watching you shoot from my RM perch,Frank)
Personally,I thought the secret that was revealed was how great a man he is!
Frank, like several others, "worked his fingers to the bone" and stayed away from his family for 2 weeks so that the RC was successful!
Frank built,he moved things,he brought seafood....and he cooked it.
Heck,he did just about everything you could think of.He would not stop until he was told to go and have fun....and grudgingly took a little time off.
I don't mean to embarrass you Frank, but you are one hell of a guy.I am very honored to have met you and see you are one of us!

A man should never get so comfortable, eat so well, or get so civilized, that he loses his edge for survival |

Oh boy! I just stumbled over this thread. I try my best to stay out of GD but sometimes I am a glutton for punishment.
It is true that I trained that punk, Richard Marcinko. I hear that he turned out to be a decent SEAL.
You guys are too kind, although I do admit that I have my moments while shooting. Like the 450 yard shot at the Tannerite with the 50BMG. First shot from a cold barrel was a hit and then hit one at 400 yards on the second shot. Also ask Tim Greene about the 400 yard hits with the 10" M16!
HoneyBee, you must have had dust in your eyes or heat stroke! LOL.[;)]
One last thing before I get back to the ship, errr umm..... back to work. Here is a pic of me and my new apprentices, Gecko45 and NSFJojo AKA, my fucking pet monkey. I am wearing an Old Navy shirt just for 1GUNRUNNER

I met Frank as well. He seemed cool enough. I was laying in the grass collecting deer ticks and praying that my number was about to be picked for something groovy when he sat next to me.
He seemed to be the eternal optimist as everything that was described was gods gift to humanity... started off simple enough... les baer AR... 'awesome firearm', some cool optics...'great scope', etc...
but then it was the hats... 'awesome hats... great brim...' jeez man. You have to work on being a jerk once in a while okay...
Must be from all those years in the Navy. Hell, I'd be weird too if I never saw dry land except for Pattaya and Olongapo.

TBK1's wife--I'm the nicer one who can outshoot him.

Frank told me all about his service aboard the carrier U.S.S. Kitty Hawk during the gulf war.
Ask him sometime.
