Oh good. I was not the only one thinking that was about an ammo shortage.

Damn, those birds kick some serious ass. That's pretty amazing, I wonder how often the eagle bites the dust or breaks a wing? Cool vid, thanks for posting it!

That is freaking awesome, I'm all for it.

Don't have a clue...I am sure a few go down, no different than the Goldens I have seen going after Mule Deer fawns though....

awsome video. But why invite them over? Do we have a wolf problem? I say we unleash them on caitol hill. Not to kill 'em of couse but put 'em in submission.

Fascinating...some of those wolves looked a bit on the small side though. Coyotes? The northern timber kind? They can get pretty big for coyotes, but not "timber wolf"size.

Average wolf is pretty big, 80lbs or bigger. I know Goldens are too, but I would think this sort of size ratio would be less than ideal for the eagle.

Bump...cause its cool

Those are some pretty small "wolves"

A lot of them look like they are in the 30lb range

Agreed.

The eagles MAY have a chance against a timber wolf if they gang up on it.

Man how the fuck ... I can see how the eagle catches up to and grabs a dog, but how does it kill it? Hoes does it avoid getting bitten and ripped apart? A wolves mouth is a lot bigger than an eagles ...

Eagles must be a lot tougher than I thought, what the fuck.

You have seen the one Eagle gettin owned....Another one flies in...Both Eagles are alive, and the Wolf is dead.....

Around 2:30 mark I think...

But if the pack turns on them, there'd be nothing but feathers and beaks left.

I like the "throat singing" music. It's amazing that those birds are capable of killing a wolf. Never would have thought that possible.

Big wolves or not, I find it amazing to see a Eagle fighting with an animal when he is TOTALLY out of his element.

Thats some badass shit there!

That's what I was thinking also. One bite from the wolf and it would seriously injure the bird. The only way I can imagine that the eagle can kill a wolf is the eagle sinks it's claws into the wolf's neck and hits the jugular vein. I cannot comprehend how an eagle could over-power a wolf otherwise.
