Last night, I posted this topic: [url]http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?id=116941[/url] A few minutes later, I managed to answer one of the questions I'd posted, and so I went back to edit the topic and remove it (before I got a dozen well-deserved replies telling me "why don't you #*&#ing look it up!" [:D]). Editing caused the subject line to be partially eaten. The original subject line was: [green]Any Portland Oregonians know a "Club Satyricon"?[/green] The post-edit subject line was: [red]Any Portland Oregonians know a [/red] (note trailing space). The forum code, when editing a post, seems to eliminate anything in the subject line which follows a double-quote mark ('"') -- not necessarily "surrounded by", just "following. The truncated subject line does show up in the form when editing, but unless the poster notices and corrects it. . . .
