Last night, I posted this topic:

A few minutes later, I managed to answer one of the questions I'd posted, and so I went back to edit the topic and remove it (before I got a dozen well-deserved replies telling me "why don't you #*&#ing look it up!" [:D]).

Editing caused the subject line to be partially eaten.  The original subject line was:
[green]Any Portland Oregonians know a "Club Satyricon"?[/green]
The post-edit subject line was:
[red]Any Portland Oregonians know a [/red]
(note trailing space).

The forum code, when editing a post, seems to eliminate anything in the subject line which follows a double-quote mark ('"') -- not necessarily "surrounded by", just "following.

The truncated subject line does show up in the form when editing, but unless the poster notices and corrects it. . . .
