I can't seem to find a copy of the current BATF 4473 online anywhere. Does anyone have the list of questions they ask for gun purchases?

thanks.

A google search for '4473' might be in order......

There's a new 4473 going into effect 10/17/2005. It isn't even yellow any more.

And it has to be kept for 75 years.

Someone else asked me what they were. But it never hurts to study.

That's the one I am most interested in, and can't seem to find. I would like to see what they have changed.

I started a thread about the new one a couple weeks ago and no one had seen it yet. I do know its 6 pages instead of the current 4 pages though. If anyone has a copy I want to see it also

There is nothing really "new" on it that would effect the buyer.

All the changes look to be done to correct and/or uniform how the form is filled out. (ie--the spot for your name now has blanks for FIRST MIDDLE LAST name instead of just one box. I deal with mostly LEO's and I still need to tell them-----"LAST NAME----FIRST NAME----MIDDLE NAME---------Complete S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G" and about half still manage to fuck up).

The other changes are similar. They kick in 17 Oct 05. And to repeat what someone else said------It's not a test, just fill it out-----no biggie-----------------------------

Yes, I would be very interested in how he would answer that question, given his other hobby.

I could fax someone a copy if they care to post it in .pdf Yes it's 6 pages and white, the only reason it's 6 pages is whomever lays out their forms is lousy at their job.

I took a look at the new 3 page white form today.  It breaks everything down easy for people to understand and adds a few dealer items that were previously absent, such as class 3 transfers that are not called into the police.    Curiously there is a box now for 3 day unresolved transactions.  I wonder how that is going to work out in VA where state police have up to 5 days to approve a transaction.
