Wonder if the cops would hassle you if each rim had an AR, a glock, MP5, and a Deagle on them?

Cops SSS. See, Stop, Search.

My dad sells rims at his store (bout all they sell nowadays)and he said those things can go for about 12k a set. Dont' think I'll be seeing too many of those around our town though. Although it's amazing how much people can spend on rims and tires. 4 or 5 times more than their car is worth..crazy crazy world we be living in.
Link Posted: 3/25/2006 8:12:42 PM EDT

Link Posted: 3/26/2006 3:18:35 PM EDT
word yo...
Link Posted: 3/26/2006 5:33:46 PM EDT

they are powered by the vehicle electrical system so there are no batteries to run out or change, ever

Oh, nice - You have to connect each wheel to your car battery! Does it use brushes and slip rings to transfer the power, or do you have to stop, get out of your car and untwist the power cable every 100 feet?

Apparently, the LEDs use too much juice to be powered by the wheel's rotation...

I designed and built one of those things 3.5 years ago for one of my undergraduate classes! Two person group project spanning about a month.

My partner was dual majoring in EE and business, and proposed it to get a proof-of-concept for his MBA project.

I thought it was dumb, and it turned into quite an easy project.

Hmmm... I wonder if his name is in here somewhere...
