Ford is really doing a good job with their vehicles, too. Hard to beat some of the things they've got now:

Explorer
F150
Superduty
Expedition
'05 Mustang

They have a whole new line of products coming out, same old names but redesigned. I guess they are going for a new image.  A clean slick sexy quality image.

And I like it.

The 2005 Mustang looks sweet!!!  I checked out the website, it states "The 2005 Mustang is the first mainstream production Mustang to break into the 300 HP arena".  I call bullshit, my GF doesn't believe me.  Who has HP specs on some of the factory 60's Mustang Mach 1's?

Some of Ford's stuff doesn't look too bad, but some looks horrible.

I saw a pic of some horrible looking new station wagon they have coming out - FreeScape or FreeStyle or something.

Ford's generally okay, but they (like all other US automakers) got caught with their pants down on hybrid technology.  They gave up trying to catch up to Toyota and licensed their technology for use in the Escape (which still hasn't come out yet).

But at least they were smart enough to do that.  Chevy's Silverado "hybrid" is a joke.

'05 MustangLooks good, but couldn't they be more original than styling from the 60s?

Fuck hybrids.  The Germans VW and Mercedes) are selling modern direct injection turbodiesels here that beat the hybrids not just i n performance, but in REAL WORLD (not EPA fantasy) fuel economy.
