...right before drill, so I had to drive "Plan B", aka, The Silver Bullet, to the armory this weekend. Boy, did I catch some shit.

Thou shalt change thy coolant every other year, or face a new radiator if santa loves you... a headgasket if you touch yourself outside the spank tank
I havent changed a water pump or radiator in 12 years. |

Something went bad in the waterpump. Tough Vulcan engine still cranks and I can drive it around the block...though it doesn't sound pretty. |

Mine blew a head gaskets and I got it repaired. 2 months later it did it again. If I were you I would just cut my losses and sell it for what you can get out of it.

Old mopar tho, i can help. I worked with a great guy who drove a mazda not too unlike your other ride. He lived out of it for three years, i dont bash economy cars any more. That little thing impressed the hell out of me. He used to get it into places a 4x4 wouldnt go at very high speed! |

Done right (which includes checking the head for cracks and flatness, proper torquing and re-torquing, etc.), a new gasket should last a long, long time. |
