Looks pretty cool.  An AUG version of the OICW.

ok the first shape looked doable.  the 2nd was pretty blocky and iffy.  what the hell is the back shoulder part susposed to fit? against a wall? surly not the average size mans shoulder

It's a wonderful idea!

....so long as I don't have to carry it.

Quick ?????   if a EMP pulse goes off, does the gizmo still work? If all our men are fighting with big heavy electronic dependent weapons.... too include the grenade warhed.... A Emp pulse could make them clumsy low tech rifles. Better to have a rifle unit that detatches.

I must say, I like the idea of a full length barrel on the 5.56mm rifle, instead of the 10 inch barrel on the OICW.

Im to the point now, where i see all this computer crap on guns, i don't even want to bother with it and all i can do is roll my eyes.

Lets bring back the m14....or stick with the m16.

it is obvious the rule of "keep it simple stupid" is long gone.

pretty soon, the only people that can use these rifles will be IT guys.

How can anyone take a rifle that has a butplate longer than a normal person's forearm seriously?
