The M60 Machine gun.
 You heavy prick you. I lugged you on Camp Bullis all summer back in the late 80s in the 100 deg heat. Once you almost knocked my teeth out with your mainspring when I was putting you back together. Veterans before me called you "The Pig" and I think I know why. You and me spent more than a few nights on top of a PeaceKeeper doing nuke convoys. I do miss firing tracers with you. that is all |

A2 came in service my last last year or so, '86. I was in a Dragon platoon so we had machine gun teams but didn't really do machine gun training, except of course to hump the fucking things. I fried a guy once with blanks, though. Out in the bush playing games and we charged our aggressors- I jumped in a foxhole and threw the pig over the top and ripped about 50 rounds off. When I stood up the poor bastard had been laying right in front of the hole. Oops.
