Well, it has finally happened. I've hit the big 10K.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Ed Senior, Goatboy, and the rest of the folks who put this place together and keep it running. I've been here a long time, and spent what I can only describe as TOO MUCH time here.

But what are the results?

I've had the pleasure of meeting Norman74, SP10, Aimless, EdSr, and one or two others. All qualify as friends in my book.

Then there are Old_Painless and Wiggy762, two guys who have helped me through some very hard times with a kind word or a well-placed kick in the posterior. These two men have become like virtual brothers to me, although I've not yet had the chance to meet them face-to-face.

Where else could this happen, as well as the enjoyment of throwing around ideas, jokes, and other BS with like-minded folk?

So, again, I'll say thanks to the Avilas, and thanks to all those who have made this place a home away from home for me. I proudly support it, and hope to stick around a lot longer.

Having a job in a big corporation has its perks, such as disappearing in the maelstrom!

I'd bet that 90%+ of my posts have been from my computer at work!
