I'm sorry you have the M110.   Lots of issues with those things.  Should be a sniper support weapon complementing the M24, not replacing, IMHO.

Heard it best when I watched some guys at last June's FN sponsored sniper comp at Fort Meade, "I wish we had our bolt guns back"

we'll see what happens.

nope. not issued. the entire upper is mine. the can is knights armament. comes in the sass m110 kit. great can. comes off or goes on in about 2 seconds. zero maintenence. since it's a dry suppressor i just spray some brake cleaner through it about every 500 rds. awesome with subsonic ammo.

i've heard alot of bad things about em. got about 2k rounds logged on mine. not a single hiccup. gets dirty as hell with the can though. takes about 4 hours for a thorough cleaning. but i do shoot the piss out of it when given the chance. sniper school had mixed feelings on them but they're new and just got incorparated in the school training. we got to keep our m24's. definitely shouldn't replace the m24. but i'm a team leader/spotter so it works great as a spotter weapon to compliment the m24. deadly setup. anyway glad you guys are enjoying the pics.

Good deal...........maybe they are ironing out the bugs.  Other guys in a particular ID were having failures to no end.  Glad too that you are keeping the 24s, good deal.

Nice! M110 pron!

Semi-auto 7.62 is the way to go! I think we use them as spotter weapons in combo with the McBros Tac-50/338 Timberwolf

saw someone comment on the sopmod stock. i had one last deployment, it was great, really nice being able to store surefire batteries in there. unfortunately i had to give it up when we got back and we only got a few this time and guess where they went? higher and people in headquarters platoons who never roll out, so does anyone have one laying around that they wouldn't mind selling me? thanks alot.

i don't know if the big conventional army would allow the use of commercial/personal uppers or not. our sniper section got it approved from the company CO though. i don't even think the battalion commander knows about it. oh well. anyway it's a viking tactics sling.
