i would get a mak90 if you can find one.

or maybe a sar because that would count as a domestic which equals evil features!

You can just have 1.

I dig'em...  FYI, the Yugo is probably the most finely made, but the lack of chrome lining makes it sub par.  That doesn't hamper you shooting wolf at the range, but is the reason so many Yugos are worthless.  That being said, an new condition yugo is sweet.

Here is my $110 Yugo factory refurb with blonde stock along with my ALL ORIGINAL 1950 Tula.  The '50 Tula was an early Soviet one, and was made prior to them being chrome lined by the Soviets.  They started that in '51.

This may be a good place to throw a question that I've been wondering about for a month or so.

What is a good AK underfolder to get? I was reading some good stuff about the Polish kits that were around about a yr or so ago, but now when I look I see all kinds of names I dont know.

Any good brands and prices out there?

Thanks.

Got a Saiga and I'm going to convert it to a more "traditional" configuration.

I want a Yugo SKS.  There's something about that bayonet that just screams, [southpark]"Respect my authority!" [/southpark]

I've got a pre 89 Norinco underfolder.   Do not buy an underfolder, buy a sidefolder.  The struts are wide, cold (pending location), and hard on your cheek.  The cheap Romanian wire folder kicks ass, and the best part about it is that it fits the standard trunion without modification (unless attempting to install in on a Chicom receiver with thicker metal).

well if you hunt around and find an early import MAK-90 you can find some that are already stamped for the underfolder setup.  I own one and will be converting it as soon as I find an original chinese underfolding stock in good shape for the right price.  oh yeah, the older ones have threaded barrels as well so you can go with the slant brake for the classic AKMS look.

Here's mine.  Note that the rear of the receiver is tapered on these.

If I owned any guns other than my registered handguns, I would probably own a Robinson Arms VEPRK in .223
