Is it albacore tuna??? I only ask because it's supposed to be higher in mercury levels.
I don't understand why tuna in a pouch is twice as expensive as the same tuna in a can... |

I always thought the same thing about the pouch, but I'm guessing it cheaper to make a tin can and glue a printed piece of paper on it than it is to make a "pouch" specifically for tuna. |

I think that's fucked up. Why should I pay a manufacturer 'extra'?? They seem to have 2 competeing products- the pouches and cans. Don't the pouches take up less storage spage for teh mfgr- saving them money- don't the pouches weigh less than cans- again saving them money??? I feel the public is getting the short end of the stick.... |

We eat tuna several times a month in our family. It is best to eat it in moderation. Google "tuna and mercury" and read up.

I was eating a can a day... now I'm down to one every other day.
Mercury comes from coal burning power plants. What good is cheap electricity, if it contaminates the food supply???

I try to eat tuna every other day, but sometimes I will eat it every day, if not twice a day. Its just a perfect food.
