Howdy Hive,
For Christmas I bought my brother some Pmags and I've decided to give my old man a box of Black Hills hollow points. He's been using his reloads in his carry gun, and no offense to him, but I'd feel better knowing he was carrying reliable ammo. Some of his reloads in the past have caused malfunctions due to the cases not being sized properly, and because he got enough WD-40 on one batch that it seeped into the case and gunked up the powder. If you have seen "my big fat greek wedding" my father is like the greek father in that movie, except he uses WD-40 on EVERYTHING instead of windex.
Anyway, story time is over.
Do I need to do anything special when checking my bag containing empty AR mags and a box of 9mm (still in the factory cardboard box, and I'll likely put it in a plastic bag in cause the box comes apart in transit). Do I need to say anything when checking the bag? There will be no firearms in the bag, just empty AR mags, and some 9mm ammo. I'm on the TSA website right now and I don't see anything other than "ammunition should be securely packed in fiber)
Thanks,
