Why do the membership prices fluctuate so much?

As of today I've purchased three different memberships for my liberal pals in the last week and I've paid three different prices from the same link.

What gives?

Also, does anyone else think it's funny that PayPal is an acceptable form of payment

I used PayPal when I upgraded to Endowment......I got 6 months no payment or interest....I was just going to debit my account but after thinking about it I decided to let PayPal float my membership on their dime for 6 months

Contact the NRA directly about this issue, they like to compromise.

I don't mind paying the 25, 30 or 40 bucks.

I just thought it was strange that the prices fluctuate from day to day.

They would rather have you in for a dime, than not at all.

The NUMBER of members weighs heavily in Congress.

Also, no matter how many times you up to a higher level of membership, they have another one you can go to for just $10000 $500 $350!

Since I joined back up in May, they have begged me for money twice.

I'm watching you, NRA.

Sign up for the Do Not Solicit list - call or email to request this. They don't beg me for money, so I give them more money. Win-win.

I called them about a life membership and was quoted $1,400.

I renewed a couple days ago, it's not that the prices prices are fluctuating, they just have different 'special offers'. I clicked on a link from Facebook and it was $25/yr, so I went to google and searched 'NRA membership' and that link was $40 and then I searched for 'NRA membership discount' and that one was $25 again. I think it has more to do with cookies / the link you follow to get there than any fluctuations.

I always saw it listed for $1000.

I waited until it was on sale for $300, and nailed it.

Isn't the point of joining the NRA donating to the cause?

If so, why wait for s bargain?

They don't have to beg me. I have donated a total of $500 to the NRA-ILA so far this year. (smug off)

Membership just raises the number of members. Scary to some Congress critters. If you want to donate to the cause, make a donation to the NRA-ILA, the political action branch of the NRA-no membership required for that.

This. Once you make it to Life Member, save your money for ILA and PVF

My Life Membership money went to the NRA.

My monthly donation goes directly to NRA-ILA.

That's a dead deal - long dead.  There was an error made where the $300 deal (never $350 AFAIK) was briefly mistakenly reactivated and NRA honored those, but they've been pretty steadfast on $500 for the last few years.

Just do it now, do it for the children!
