So I run 5-6 days a week and usually 3m. Each run. I noticed that when I start out I feel my leg muscles start to fatigue then about 1/4m into my run I get a feeling of renewal in my legs that lasts for the duration of my run. AT that point I am able to sustain my pace very long. I read some dipctions of these phenomena as a "dump". What is that?

I'm not sure what "btt" means, but I'll try and answer your question. The "dump", hopefully doesn't involve and over active bowel system [;)] . It's refering to a "second wind" or an adreneline dump during a long run that one acheives when they've reached the point of near total fatigue. You'll reach a point where you think you can't go on, and then "miraculously" regain some energy enough to sustain further distance. I hardly doubt you're feeling this in a 3 mile run. You're probably experiencing a quick lactic acid build up in your muscles that eventually settles out. Bear in mind that I'm not an expert.

Sorry but there seems to be more traffic here and limited responses there.
