I get $2 more per pay period now thanks to some jiggery they're pulling with Social Security. Apparently by reducing what I have to pay in to SS by $2, but not what my boss has to pay in on my behalf, is supposed to inspire my boss to pay me more/not lay me off.

I am bringing home about $15 more per check this year. I don't know why...I just do as I'm told.
I'll probably have to pay next year or something. ETA: For the record, I WISH I had to pay $500/day in taxes...imagine how much I would actually bring home... |
|
For everyone, like me who thought they would see more in their pay.
Since the federal tax credit was extended and Social Security tax was lower. I found this The "Making Work Pay Credit" was only in effect for 2009 and 2010 so everyone's Federal withholding will go up a little in 2011. |

I realized enough for a fast food meal.
Since I don't do much fast food I increased my Roth contribution. |
|
I'm cool. I got my quarterly bonus for the last quarter of '10, plus a paycheck. Three checks in January is nice.

First payday of the new year! How sore is your sphincter?
My ass is fine, I don't do that for money. |
|
I got my check for some of last years work
I really don't evev want to look at how much was taken out but I'm sure it will be over 2k |
|
Considering that I was told early this month that due to reduced work coming in, I would be working 4 days a week instead of 5 from now on...pretty sore.
|
|
I'm more pissed that my health insurance premiums DOUBLED. Between Obama and his bull and my CEO reallocating how premiums are divided between single folk and families, I now pay $240/month to cover me, myself, and I.

same here

Your supposed to spend your portion, stimulating demand. I'm putting mine in my 401K. |

We got back half of the 3% pay cut we got a couple of years ago, so I am doing pretty good.

Try owning a business and see the hammering we business owners get from the Gov.

I'll let you know how that massive SS withholding tax break is going to work out on Thursday...

The welfare parasites of the world thank you from the bottom of their couch bound hearts.
BTW I didn't calculate my per day tax as I don't really need another reason to be pissed off. |

Pay check went up this month but Obama crap kicks in next month with a 23.54% increase in my medical insurance payment.

My insurance stayed the same for my wife and I at $167, while my monthly paycheck (direct deposit) went up $15. |

I paid 83$/day in State and Federal income tax. Poll inbound. So you paid $30,295 to the govt. There are a shit ton of people that don't make that kind of money before taxes. Be happy. |

Ladies and gentlemen, I present everything that's wrong with the country right now. He's taking it in the ass for everyone. The fact that he takes more home too is irrelevant, he's paying more than his fair share. |

Not income tax, but I got a car tax notice for year 2010 from a town I haven't been in since 2008 in a state I haven't been in since 2008. When I call to straighten out the obvious screwup all I get from the retard manning the phone is "You betta pay o' we gone come afta you!"
