I took my first Tae Kwan Do belt test since 1990 yesterday.
I took TKD during my senior year in college and got up to blue belt, was a month from testing for brown when my report date to Ft Benning for IOBC got moved up and that was the last class I took for almost 15 years. I kept in practice, but never had the time and money together to take it again.
Then my son started taking it and since I was taking him to class anyway, I decided to start taking it again myself.
So yesterday morning I took the test for my brown belt. Everything went great...I had to spar an 18-19 year old three rounds and I kicked his ass. Did my poomse and combination kicks perfect and hit my break with the first try. Felt like I was 23 again...except I hurt more afterward.
