Hey,
Heads up on the first appearance of Fred: www.cnbc.com/id/21149087/site/14081545 www.cnbc.com/id/20623950/site/14081545/ CNBC/MSNBC/Wall Street Journal Sponsoring Republican Presidential Debate Oct. 9th ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Sept. 6, 2007---CNBC/MSNBC/The Wall Street Journal announced today that they are jointly sponsoring the first Republican Presidential debate of the 2008 campaign focusing on economic issues. The two-hour debate is scheduled to be held on October 9 in Dearborn, Mich. and will be broadcast live on CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, at 4 PM ET and re-broadcast on MSNBC at 9 PM ET that evening. The debate will be held at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, Mich., a suburb of Detroit. The debate format, as well as its moderator, will be determined after further discussions with representatives from the respective campaigns. “This debate will focus on issues that are at the heart of every Presidential election, namely the economy, taxes, fiscal discipline and government regulation,” said Mark Hoffman, CNBC President. “This will mark the first time in the 2008 presidential campaign that all declared Republican candidates will be asked to provide voters with specific plans for the American economy and American workers in an increasingly global marketplace.” “The economy is a core area of our broad campaign coverage, so we’re happy to play a part in focusing the campaign debate there,” said Alan Murray, executive editor for online edition of The Wall Street Journal and former Washington bureau chief who also is in charge the Journal’s partnership with CNBC. “Our sponsorship of a similar debate for Democratic presidential candidates in 2004 was instrumental in framing the debate, and we’re happy to be able to play that role again.” Michigan Republican Party Chairman Saulius “Saul” Anuzis said, “This is an opportunity for Michigan to highlight the issues affecting Middle America. Metropolitan Detroit is the home of the Reagan Democrats and this debate on economic issues will give Republican presidential candidates a chance to talk about the issue that affects Michigan families most – jobs.” Dearborn, Mich. with a population of more than 97,000, borders the City of Detroit and is home of the world headquarters of the Ford Motor Company. Some suggestions to the debate moderators for questions to ask Fred:
"When you bring your judgment upon on the world, who, if any, will be spared?" "How many of your fellow candidates will you allow to live?" "You said you will destroy any who dares questions you. Does that include debate moderators?" "After you put Ron Paul's head on a pike, what are your plans, if any, for his body?" "How awesome is it to be so awesome?" "Are you willing to rule out using force lighting in this debate?" "Is that Chris Matthews' hide you're wearing? We can't find him backstage..." "When you are elected which country will be destroyed first?" "When do you plan on nuking the moon and how large of a warhead do you plan on using?" "Mr. Thompson, when elected, will you order one or two nuclear strikes on Iran?" "Should the criminally insane, such as Ron Paul supporters, be relocated to the Mariana Trench, or simply shot into the sun?" Go Fred! And doesn't Dearborn, MI have the largest % if muslim residents in the United States? Not trying to start anything, just curious. |

WTH has a debate in the middle of the afternoon, and on a cable channel at that? Plenty of time for putty in the media's hand before evening news I guess.

thanks watching now.. |

So how is it going??? I'm at work and cannot watch this on TV nor over the compuper...
Not sure if I will be able to listen to 2 hrs of this garbage - I am hating Guilini more by the minute.
A bunch of "When I was Mayor Of New York" crap coming out of Rudy. |
While I HATE Rudy, I think he tore Romney a new one right there. Thompson seems to doing better, he stumbled slightly on the first question (took a few seconds to collect his thoughts half way through). He's been pretty much right on, even if some people in general think differently. |
I have to say I actually sort of like Romney despite his RINO-ness. I'd take him over Rudy, that's for sure.
I'm underwhelmed by Fred so far. I've been telling everyone that he will be the savior of the Republican party, but... |
I sound like a chump by saying this, how is Fred coming off like? Or is it more the same of Rudy McRomney lame shit? |
McCain talking abiout 50,000 people making a living off Ebay and pandering to GM about retiree medical costs.
That was a pretty lame line from Romney. "Michigan is personal"
I just realized who Romney reminds me of...George Clooney. Never noticed it before.
It was lame although he is from there. |
Talking to Guiliani about Chinese companies trying to buy our ports and us blocking it. He is against the block, saying it would have upped out exports. Not sure how he's getting that....
I'm not able to listen to all of it right now...but watching it; is every other question directed to either MCRomney or the NY fuckstick?
Tancredo is already ranting about illegals.
Rudy looks really tired and is slurring his words. Romny is the most polished candidate. |
Agreed. He comes off like the Rino slick willie. |
Rudy slurs every word he says.....I think he has a slight speech impediment. |
I don't care what a lot of you say Huckabee is the most dynamic and most well spoken between all of them.
I think he does too. |
There's no way I'd vote for that slick son of a gun. |
Do you have a crush? |
Yeah, I mean, if it came right down to it, Hillary would be so much better. |
