While cleaning my new Springfield 1911, I was somewhat creeped out when I discovered that the serial number ended in 666.

I've also got an M1 carbine whose serial number ends in 4444. Anyone else have a gun with 666 or some other unusual combo in the serial number?

(for any ATF agents watching, sorry guys, I'm not asking for anyone to post FULL serial numbers or their addresses or the combo to their safe )

the best part about building your own is that you can serialize them pretty much any way you want

I have a Beretta Commemorative M9 Operation Enduring Freedom that has "911" in it.

I didn't realize it until the clerk that was registering saftey inspecting my pistol pointed it out to me.

I have a Leupold CQ/T scope with serial number 666.

When Denny gets his GTS lowers moving as I know he will... I am going to try and get one of his lowers with serial number 666 and use it for the SPR upper with that scope!

I don't name objects... but I would be tempted to name that rife El Diablo!

My nagant has a xx666 serial number on everything except the bolt. One of the people on a Nagant forum posted that it could have been Stalin's rifle, ha ha.

My S&W 945 from the performance center has the serial number of the exact month and year my dad passed away.

You can't ever sell a gun like that.

When my son was stationed at Shaw AFB in Sumter, South Carolina, the phone numbers were 666-xxxx. Needless to say that didn't go over well with a lot of the locals or base folks.

I had a Browning Auto 5 serial # 1313. I was reading an article on how a gun writer on how he collected firearms with the serial # 13 or repeated 13's. Made a nice little profit on a gun not worth a whole lot other wise.

My first Bushmaster AR ended in 922.

(922 as in gun legislation, I thought it was funny)

when I was younger I bought 2 G17's on the same day. Later on I noticed one ending in 666 sold it a week later. I figured as a carry gun it might be bad luck.

My Glock 27 ends in 007. Sometimes I feel like James Bond when I carry it. My wife has to remind me that I'm just a little ole country lawyer.

My glock 33 ends in 409. Maybe I should use it to clean up some bad guys.
