Saw this on the ak board

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=64&t=82336

We (Las Vegas) had a police officer killed a couple of days ago by a scumbag with an SKS/AK Clone/Who knows. One of the news stations is now taking a poll on whether or not Assault Weapons should be banned. The banners are ahead right now, so its up to us to rectify things.

poll hit.  WTF? they give a link to the brady campaign right below the poll.  way to try to bias the responses by putting that crap right next to the poll.  that's some shoddy journalism....

We are gaining.

Letter I just wrote to them.

I'm writing to you to let you know some facts about the "brady campaign" link that you have linked under the poll about banning assault weapons. The brady campaign has absolutely no problem using lies to accomplish their goals. They continually spread lies and propoganda to try and sway public opinion. I request that in the interest of responsible, UNBIASED journalism you either remove that link or add one to the NRA or even to the FBI website where actual facts can be found that show the Brady's lies. While you and I are obviously entitled to free speach I believe that as a journalists you should only report facts and let people make their own opinion.
By linking to the Brady Campaign website you are putting out lies that skew your poll and it is irresponsible to do so. If you would like I will Gladly pick apart any of the Brady lies you wish. It's easy to do so because I have truth and logic on my side. The Brady's have nothing but lies and a willing audience that seeks to villify anything other than a criminal. Some simple logic for you. Murder is already illegal. And Gun laws, only prevent those who abide by laws, however unconstitutional. Anyone willing to kill a police officer, is willing to break a gun law. I'm sorry to have to inject truth and logic here. But it was needed, I know the media usually cannot deal with that.

Tiny work of art if I say so myself.
Won't do a fucking bit of good so I bet I wasted my time.

Ka BOOOOOOOOOOOONNNG.

Fiend- you need to edit your title and make it a little more imperative.

ETA- Dayumm. Is KLASTV legit or some kind of One World Gov pit?

Prendes, a 14-year veteran, was responding to a domestic violence call where 21-year-old Amir Rasheed Crump was allegedly beating his girlfriend.

Prayers for officer Prendes' family. 880 volts for Amir.

49% yes and 51% no. The neat part is you can vote as many times as you want.

Look at what was in a related story about the shooting:

"Montoya owns American Shooter Supply. He sells weapons to police officers and law-abiding citizens, but he says a lot of weapons get into the wrong hands because the buyers are able to bypass the checks and balances. "Unfortunately, there are still a lot of gaps out there such as newspaper purchases and gun shows where they're not governed. And most of these crime-related incidents purchase their firearms through gun shows, or through the newspapers, places that aren't regulated."

Yeah, he wants all sales to go through him so he can make a buck.  Screw our rights.  We are our own worst enemies.

Kill that link for crying out loud

The easiest trace in the world is one that hot-links

We are exposing our fire-mission. Put it out!! ----------- if you want our throwing of the poll to work

NOTE:

Look at and listen to the video on "Assault Weapons questions" on that site.

What a tool the gun store owner is.

"Nothing on the market that can compete with our police armory weapons today"

Obviously he is not an ARFcom-er!

and that crack about "Post Bans" and "Knock Offs" was classic (unless thats file footage from a few years ago. Come to think f it, he had several A1 ARs on his wall)

idiot

Yea you are right, but that post had hot-links and a lot of snickering about voting dozens of times and swinging it by percentage poitns

I guess there isn't much you can do now. It isnt a vote after all.

If one (a vote) ever does come to Vegas, the real ballot box type , people better show up.
