wow, what's the amount of hangtime to be expected with artillery? Seemed like they were just hanging the in air forever. Amazing!

scuse me, i seem to have a stain on my pants now.

whole rgt's worth of DPICM @ max ROF... (shudder) im jealous. never got more than 2 tubes of 155, and never any DPICM. did get WP once tho

i would give several choice pieces of my anatomy to be the FO calling that. he put on a damn good show.

thats called TOF (time of flight). when shooting high-angle fires, the round has to go up at a sharp angle, then come down again, while traveling a couple kilometeters. it takes a while, considering the max range of the M109A6 is somewhere between 22000 30000 meters ;)

They might be these, I think that is why you can see them through NVGs, sort of like a better version of RAP.

Those are RAP rounds. Nothing too special, but you don't want to be on the other end.
