I just bought a new camera, and decided to take some pics on the way home.  The first 8 pics I took filled up the memory card  so I had to change the size after I got home and snap a few more.

Anyway,  enjoy....

Lol, okay. With a high megapixel camera, 16mbs isn't shit, if that's what it is.  Look into a 256mb card, or even a 1 gig.  They're not too expensive, and you can take TONS of pictures.

It was almost hot enough I had to turn on the AC in car while going to lunch today. It is our "shirt" weather in Phx during the day. Getting chilly at night. It's getting into the 60's here at night. Almost had to turn on the heat.

Looks like that'll be my next purchase then.

I'm pretty dense when it comes to this stuff.  I've used a lot of other peoples' cameras, but know absolutely nothing about them

Any recommendations?  It's a Canon A720 IS  8.0 mp

ETA:  Is SanDisk good?  I've used their USB thumbdrives/memory sticks before...

Or check out froogle.com for some 4 gb cards for about 40-50 bucks.

Yes.  When you photograph snow, try making it look white.  I know that sounds sarcastic, but trust me, I am not being glib about it.  Cameras always seem to expose snow as if it were grey.  There is a technical reason for this, but I won't bore you with the details.

Shoot in Manual mode, and bump the exposure compensation up until the snow comes out a nice clean white.  I realize that the images were taken in the evening, but even during the day, the snow tends to go grey.

Buy a 1-2 gig speedy SD card.  Sandisk Ultra II or Extreme III is what I like.  They aren't expensive.

Have fun!

I just bought a 2 gig Kingston SD card for my 5 megapixel camera from Inkstop for $20.00.

If it's below 60-65, it's too damn cold for me.  Pretty pics though
