Ok from the videos Ive seen of Arlovski, he fights similar to Fedor so it should be interesting.
That being said, no. Nothing survives a close encounter with Fedor. =) Its paid for and set to record. GO FEDOR, The Last Emperor! I really used to like Arlovski back in his hey-day. He just hasn't been the same lately though. So I'm going with Fedor but I hope Andre' puts up a good fight!

I really hope Arlovski wins...
But I think Fedor is going to take him down and submit him. I really wish Fedor would go to the UFC where we can see him against the other best fighters in the world. |

As much as a love Fedor I think his time as the king of MMA might be drawing to a close. He had surgery done on his right hand (which has bothered him for years) a few months ago and there are rumors that it hasn't healed well. And his competition of late hasn't been the cream of the crop. Tim Sylvia is still decent, but Hong Man Choi, Matt Lindland and Mark Hunt are not anyway near his level. Combine that with the fact that Arlovski is hungry for the win and I think there is a chance (lets say 30%) that it might be an upset.
But for now, Hail to the King.

I have been waiting for this fight for so long...I am actually going to say it: I know it sounds stupid, but I think Arlovski's gonna win it.....Mark Jarlragnar's words thusly.
 But seriously, he looked phenomenal against Rothwell and Nelson. Since Fedor ruined Silvia so quickly, its hard to say that if he didn't land those first few punches, the fight would have been quite so decisive. Anyway, there's no shame in losing to Fedor. These two men are my two favorite fighters and I am so stoked!!

More than anything I just hope the two of them are going into this without any kind of injuries. I know Fedor broke his hand on Tim Silvia's face, but I think it's healed. A fight like this may not ever happen again, so it's important that both of them are at 110%

Arlovski has a bad habit of rushing in with his hands down if he thinks he has you hurt.I'm sure Fedors camp has noted this as well.Arlovski when he's on is a fucking nightmare but Fedor is always one.

Fedor has Knockout power in his fist like nobody else.
I like Andre but his chin has always been questionable. One punch from Fedor and it will be lights out, that is if he doesn't break a bone first. My prediction will be Fedor by KO in the first round. |
