Just got a newsletter from the local school

here's their budget:

Local Revenue   $18,137,879
State Revenue   $11,186,587
Federal Revenue $   232,244
Other Revenue   $    50,000

Total Revenue   $29,606,710

The Feds are only .8% of the revenue, yet the way the butt in you would think they gave 50% or more!

I say dump the Feds.  Tell them to stick the $200k where the sun don't shine.

It is a sad thing, but federal $ = federal control.
