It would be The Gun Room & Pawn, Chehalia,Wa. The owner is sort of a red neck sleezy prick, but has really good deals and will go the extra mile for you if needed.

I go though a guy by the name of Braegger. Used to be the County sherrif a while back. Staight shooter. He tells you what he will be paying for the gun and what exact shipping will cost and how much he would like to make off of you. Very good guy.

Axel- How is the selection at Marin Firearms? Is it worth a trip from the east bay?

alex- Canyon Sports is nice and local, but prices are  a tad high.  I was in there last week and they wanted six hundred bucks for a Glock 23 and three hundred fifty for a HS2000. The owner is a nice guy though and gave me a good deal on a Trailside last year.

I've bought a couple from Traders in San Leandro.  Their prices are the worst until they have an advertised sale.  I bought a SIG 229 off them NIB for $550 and a Kimber SLE for $640 last year.  If you walk in off the street though their prices are like a hundred bucks OVER list, then have a sale tag that shows list price.  Can get to be a madhouse as well.

Antioch Armory is a good store but the traffic to get out there just isn't worth it.

Is that enough? [:)]

I used to use Traders in San Leandro, but since I started using the local home-based FFL in Martinez, I've had no need to drive out there. I've never used Canyon Sports, but my gunsmith says there are okay. Being that the local guy is a hell of a nice guy, charges a flat fee, is an ex-Richmond, CA LEO who has had a lot of sh*t happen in his life, yet is still a great guy and has a true love of firearms, I use him almost exclusively now.

I use Freedom Armory in Shrewsbury, Pa. Decent prices, good selection. They remembered my LEGP transfer was coming 3 months after I got their FFL to send to Castle Arms! I called them yesterday to let them know it was coming and they said they were getting ready to call me to ask if the deal was still on!

Currently dealing with Independence Arms here in Dallas. So far pretty good. Randy expediently sent his FFL to G&B for my LEGP. Real no hassle tfrs. Inexpensive too. Not a stocking dealer, but good for tfrs and building kits.

Has anyone heard of McBride Gun shop at Austin, TX in N. Lamar? I cant comment on their gunsmith (never used them) but they are the only FFL within walking distance to UT that I know of.... Could anyone enlighten me on gun shop ettiquite because I get the impression that they arent taking me seriously (maybe because I am one of the few youngsters there....) but I dont want to tick them off since they are pretty much the only place if I need anything gun-related. Other than that they have good selection, LOTs of reloading supply and they carry 4fg blackpowders too (I believe few gun shops carry it because few people use flintlocks)

WSI (Weapons Safety Inc.) has a very helpful staff and has an outstanding safety record. This is where I am going to buy my guns. Wade's has a good selection but I would never shoot there. It seems like they attract dangerous people who have made their range an area that could be hazardous to ones health. Both of them are in Bellevue, Washington.
