What is your favorite...

Fixed blade?

Folder?

EDC?

Post brand and steel type, also.

For me, favorite fixed is a yet-to-be-bought Bark River and Tool A2 steel, favorite folder is Al Mar Sere 2000. Although Spyderco Police is very nice, too. As is the Benchmade 806D2.

I've used a small Sebenza every day for more than a year for EDC.  While I don't abuse it, I don't baby it either, and it's stayed sharp and easy to maintain.  A very practical tool.

The ATAK is new to me, and it always amazes me just how big a 7" blade really is.  Carrying a fixed blade this size is a real *commitment* to carrying a knife.  I'm not sure where in normal life it would be possible to have this on you everyday...

Spyderco Delica is a great knife and leaves me plenty of money for ammo.

I'm rather fond of my Buck 110 folder. It's as old as dirt (my father carried it when he was a kid, doesn't carry a knife these days so it's mine), and still works great.

My fixed blade is a big SOG Seal. It's my dive knife. Doesn't cut a line I'm tangled in any better than my 1.5 inch line cutter, but it does scare everybody else in the boat.

My favorite folder (so far) is a Kershaw Ken Onion Leek, not the rainbow thing though.

Fixed 6" damascus bowie knife with a stag horn handle.  I saw one of these in an antiques shop and I so lusted for it.  $600 was a little steep though.

got a 10 inch ontario raider bowie and I have a cold steel OSS knife. the bowie I got solely cause it was overkill. Just wanted something big. But the OSS is nice. I just wish they made one side of it serrated and then it would kick ass.

Carry Folder:  Emerson CQC7A
Folder for hunting and hiking:  Swiss Army Knife (either Victorinox or Wegner)  I like a knife with a saw blade, large pen blade, scissors, can opener.screwdrivers, etc., but not the super-duper-uber champion toolbox versions.

I prefer anything that is made of soligen CARBON steel. You couldn't give me a straight stainless blade. Some of the High CARBON stainless works pretty well also.

I have many knives, but my favorite is a Spyderco Endura with the serraded blade.  It keeps a sharp edge.

I like folders, a single locking blade for everyday carry. I like smallish knives in my pocket and a 3" clip blade with a good edge for heavier cutting.

I like to carry a fixed blade in my trucks.

Cold Steel Knives are my top pick, also make great kitchen knives.

i carry a CRKT m16z13

the only thing i don't like about it is that the clip is attached up by the pivot point

it should be down at the other end so that you can put your hand on it while still in your pocket and have it in the right position ready to whip out and open
