I've never seen that brand. Hard to find anything other than Seagram's and Canada Dry around here. Vernor's is rare.

I like Vernor's, but it is too sweet for my taste. Too much of a nutmeg flavor there. Gives me wicked heartburn if I drink it regularly.

Best one I ever had was over in England 30 years ago. Can't recall the name now, but it was unlike anything I'd ever had in the states. Just more "gingery".

Second on the list would be a local product:

Vernors is the SHIZ. Gotta love how it takes your breath away if you inhale before drinking.
Link Posted: 1/30/2006 5:09:30 PM EDT
Vernors, there is NO other.

Dr. Brown's extra dry ginger ale

Nice and dry - old style.
Not like this new watered down BS.

Canada dry is ok but Schweppe's takes it

Schwepp's with CD a close second! BTW Any of you Easterners evr heard of Bitter Lemon? Made by Canada Dry or Schweppes, can't remember which, but I have ONLY seen it in PA, and I'd like to get a hold of some.

Vernor's. With Captain Morgan.

Reminiscent of cream soda.

Stewart's brand (its an upstate NY thing). Man, my folks practically lived off that stuff when I was growing up...

Wilson's ginger ale was the best I ever had - available when I was a kid in growing up in Canada.

They made an awesome cola too. They went under in the 1970's. They were in business over 100 years.

That little logo is a squirrel in a shield.

I really enjoy ginger ale, straight or with bourbon
Now as a mixer, I don't care for Vernors... but just for drinking soda alone, I really like all kinds. I notice if I drink one type too much I get sick of it, so I switch em up. Some of the store brands are pretty decent. I think I must drink a 10-1 ratio of ginger ale over Pepsi.

Vernors! It has a very unique flavor. I really like. But I have told people about it who like ginger ale that have never tried it how great it was and they tried it and hated it.

Canada Dry, Schweppe's and Seagram's are good.

Any grocery store-brand ginger ale is awful.

Whichever one has the Bourbon in it.

Here in Bama, I prefer Buffalo Rock.

I have never had urine from a diabetic hog, but if you say so I'll take your word for it.

+eleventy billion on Blenheim

If you haven't tried Blenheim's Ginger Ale or the Hot, you really don't know what you are missing. I can't imagine having any other ginger ale or ginger beer compare. Every other thing I've tried tastes like dirty soda water.
