It's Friday on a Holiday weekend, what's your favorite 'cheap' beer? You know what I mean...
If Yuengling counts, then that. Otherwise, I'm living the High Life baby. That DEFINITELY counts. |
|
I wouldn't say Yuengling is cheap beer. It's $16 a case for bottles. I feel like you gotta break 50 cents per 12 ounces equivalent to be cheap. Yuengling is only cheap if you buy kegs like I do.
National Bohemian gets my vote. |

I guess I consider anything "Bud-priced" to be the baseline. But I see what you mean. |

Dang, I forgot about Natty Boh.... If Yuengling doesn't count, then my answers are first High Life, second Maryland's Pride and Joy, Natty Boh...
And Blue Moon doesn't count as cheap for sure. |
|
The cold ones, hell the warm ones, I have the recipe for cold.

Quoted: Quoted: Natty Ice. Takes me right back to college. That or Natty Light. Why pay more for the same crap? Problem with Natty Light is you have to drink a case to catch a buzz. Problem with Natty Ice is you need to stomach at least six to catch a buzz. |

Natty light has the same abv as all other light beers (4.2%), ice is 5.5%

Wow, no 'Arn City? Where's Bubbaman at? It's the only beer that tastes as metallic as its name!

Natty Light has become somewhat of a joke among my circle because it just seems to have a such a poor return. Maybe it's psychosomatic, I dunno, but I can pound 'em and not feel a thing. |

For cheap Iron, you get "Old German" for $13.50/30pack. Tastes like IC Light. Way back in high school it was all about Keystone Ice when it was in a blue can..$9.50/24pack back around '98 |

Define "cheap". At the risk of being called a rich beer snob, I'd say anything that can be had at < $6 a six pack normal price. And if you live in a commie state where this isn't possible, then the beer that falls in the bottom 20% by cost. |

I have a feeling I'll be getting into a six pack of natty ice tall boys tonight.
