So wwhat was your favorite firearm among those you acquired in 2002?
Mine was probably the Robinson Arms M96 I picked up with the top feed, rifle, and recon carbine setups. Though it might be a tossup with the Israeli Heavy Barrel FAL |

That's a close one for me. Not sure if My Sig SP2340 or the AR-15 I built is my favorite acquisition for 2002.

A Marlin 1894C .357 mag lever action:

That would have to be my two M1s and my Lee Enfield No4MK1. Love those rifles!

Pristine condition H&K 93. Got it from a guy that was desperate for the $$$. Didn't rape him, but we both came out just fine!
|
|
Gotta be my AK47.....though I just picked up a Ford Explorer Sporttrac 12/23, which is cool....

Almost forgot about the Fulton Armory 308 Garand I traded for. I've pretty much stopped shooting my other M1's.

Quoted: My daughter Violet [;)] Me too. Alexandra. And a new in box Walther PP made in 1969. (yeah, 30+ years in the box and I'm gonna take it out and shoot it). |
|
My AR10. Once I get it back it should be nice.
Had to go back to Armalite for some "work" on it's FTE and stovepiping. Next would be the 458 SOCOM Group Buy upper....can't wait. Ed |

I think AimSmall is the winner so far. My favorite GUN acquisition of 2002 has to be my HK USP .45 Tactical, but my .45acp AR15 comes in a close second.

Best 2002 gun? A minty SR-25 Heavy Match which I picked up at a great price with the intention of reselling, but was tempted by its sub-halfMOA charm[:D] It is a keeper.

Rem. 700PSS in .308 with Nightforce NXS scope and Badger Ordnance base and rings.
A 1/2 MOA tackdriver out of the box. |

Springfield Armory Loaded full size 1911. Stainless.
It's actually the only gun purchase I made this year. Oh yeah, and I got me a wife too. |
|
No contest.
Our daughter Molly that we adopted from China in August. Nothing else compares. |

The SPR knock off I built and had to sell. I am keeping track of that sucker and I am going to get it back when the divorce is over if I can. Can somebody host the pic for me?

Best acquisition of 2002 was the Banshee and trailor combo.
Other notables would be a Sig P220 NIB and a Sig P226 like new. .458 SOCOM upper will start off 2003 ( I hope! ) |

I Photoshopped it. I HATE warnings on pistols. We all know we should read the instruction manual before use.
This is the type of warning we'll probably see someday! |

View Quote Your Uncle is a lucky man to get presents like that. I had to give up an M1 Carbine for it. 'Course the M1 was one of those shot out Woolco reimports, and I had barely touched it since I got the AR... still it's always sad to see anything leave the stable. |

I would have to say my best bud "Chubs" my son. Also the addition of my brothers wife to the family, even though she doesnt like my wife or me [:(]
The guy in the pic is my bro who is holding my son during his stay in the hospital. |

My only significant purchase this year, and my first gun, a Beretta 92FS Inox.
BTW, love that warning! Do not shoot self in face or groin. Okay, so what if I shoot myself in the chest? Could I sue them for not telling me not to do that? |
