Maybe I'm just a weirdo but I kinda like the rough around the edges "Road Warrior" version better.  The aluminum reserve tanks, extra tires & fuel cans, etc.


Another fave is a certain red & white '58 Plymouth..........though as sexy as she is she's not really a "hot rod".

"The Car" was a highly modded late '60s/early '70s Lincoln Mark ??  IIRC.  As far as the movie, it's a "drive in" B movie about some evil car terrorizing a desert community.   Sort of a '70s forerunner of "Christine".


Another great Hollywood Hotrod:  The Deathmobile  early '60s Lincoln from "Animal House".
