Had a missionary at church last nite. He is recently back from China, Uzbekistan, and many parts of Europe.

He made EVERY effort to keep from being political, but people kept asking questions. According to him....

China

There is some religious freedom there, as long as its not too large a group. Chinese are basically control freaks.

They are NOT like Soviet communists, with the intent of spreading communism. They are about controlling their own - Tibet, Taiwan, Hong Kong.

The Chinese communists CANNOT be handled thru containment - due to their personality and culture, they must be dealt with thru engagement.

Europe

Europe is being overrun by Muslims. Thru birth rates, they are massing the population

A number of towns in France are a majority Muslim - explaning why France ain't really on board in the Middle East.

Russia and Muslims

A question was asked "where is teh greatest persecution going on?"  The answer - Uzbekistan, NOT by the communists, but by the Muslims.
