Which do you guys want? Auto or manual?

If you want a manual draft, please list the day of the week that would be best for you.

i've just never done a manual before. thought it might a good forum for talking smack.

Since there is really no large amounts of money on the line, Auto would be much easier.

I kept the method as autodraft and set our status to ready.

Draft will take place by 8/16.

What would be the reason for that? Why does it matter when the season starts?

Draft happened a little quicker than I expected anyway.

Matters because people get injured in preseason. We already drafted?

WTF?

Shit, we didn't even get a chance to rank our players.

Please don;t change the starting lineup AFTER the draft.

What I suggested is almost the way it was BEFORE the draft, and Burley changed it and set the draft status to ready before anyone had a chance to set their draft orders.

The only thing to change would be everyone would get to pick up one extra player as a free agent (20 man roster instead of 19) and everyone would get to insert two extra bench players into the lineup every week.

Quality free agents WILL be available as they are every year due to injuries and poor performance of starters... i.e. last year Reuben Droughns, Nick Goings, Billy Volek, Willis McGahee, Larry Johnson, and others went undrafted yet found themselves playing and contributing to fantasy teams. Volek got me to the playoffs last year.

I mean with just 8 teams in the league, any dumb manager can stick his studs in the lineup every week with minimal management decisions. Leagues with more teams are more competitive because they're shallower. We can't add more teams but we can add more players.

My say is to just let it role. A smaller roster makes it more fun because you put your eggs in one basket. With 2 QB's is less of a gamble.

My vote
1 QB
2 RB
3 WR
1 TE
1 K
1 DEF

I agree the 7 points per TD sucks. But thats not what we are talking about.

There are other points system things I have a problem with. But since we had no poll and it was just setup I was just gonna roll with it.

I totally understand your issues but frankly screw it. I did not get a chance to pre rank my players so I am just gonna play it out. Lets make it simple and exciting. The best way to do that is a low number roster. I then only have to follow 2 QB's per sunday (mine and my opponents) If we get rolled then thats cool It will still be fun. But having a loaded roster just makes things complicated and less exciting.

I added one roster spot this morning to give us 20.

I can still make a lot of changes. The problem is coming to an agreement about anything.

After giving it some thought, changing the points awarded to QB's for TD passes is a good idea.

My main reason for points over head to head was that I've done several head to head games over the years and just didn't care for it.

Get everyone to agree on it and I'll switch to head to head.

I think you were the only one to get an extra spot.

I deserve it after getting hosed on the waiver wire this morning.

Ok you are right Big Bear. I concede.
