I can't stand the very thought of them.
I find nothing more rupulsive on a beautiful AR than the abject dishonesty of such a foolish decoration.

I have to agree with the MAJOR.

To Me, it is a symbol of the acceptance of unconstitutional bullshit legislation.

Why wouldn't you buy one if you are looking for the military/M4 look on a post ban rifle, unless you are going to go illegal and have a non-collapsible stock on it?

I've seen more than a few M4 operators in the Military who prefer the A2 stock on their M4.
If your not jumping with it or storing it, what's the point?

Currently, its as close as you can get to a real one, on a pre ban. While I dont agree with the laws that created it, to me, its a make do thing, like removing the bayo from an SKS, or 10 round mags. (love all my pre-bans)

Fake is a bad word.
Unless, of course we're talking about breasts.
Even then, I prefer the term: "man-made".

I like the "fixed" (I know, I know...it wasn't broken)length collapsible stock because I can order it fixed to a length that works for ME. The A2 is too long and the A1 is better, but if I can get a collapsible fixed to the RIGHT length, I'm gonna do it.

Now, if someone wants to come out with an A.85 length stock.......[:D]

Fake collapsible stocks are stupid. Every time I'd look at my rifle I'd think it was some kinda eunuch. It either collapses for real or I'd get an A1 or A2 stock.

Other fake stuff mentioned in this thread's OK by me, although I have a real pair at my disposal . . .[:P]

Hate to say it but they are lighter and just as functional.
