I have never been a pet owner and I don't even live in the PDX area, but the idea of being able to charge me/fine me to own a pet seems, well, I don't know....asinine!

Ugh!

Do any of you have to pay to own fluffy/fido?
If so, where do you live & how much does it cost you for the privilage to own fluffy/fido?

Costs me $2.50 a year to renew his license. he's neutered and gets his annual shots.

The Brown Dog lacks opposable thumbs so he doesn't drive.  Sometimes after I've been drinking I let him run the peddles though.

That's nothing.  In Tennessee, they SHOOT dogs they find off the leash.  I just saw the video.
