I noticed in a lot of the PIC threads most of us that are old enough have a beard or goatee of some sort.

Even some of our female members have them.

I myself have had a goatee for the last couple years.

Who else?

I sported a full beard from 1999-2004 Clean shaven/ scruffy since

I tried one 1994-1995, but "Nut Dusters" aren't my cup of tea.

Ain't old enough to have a good beard, but I'm giving it my damndest.

Got good growth on my sideburns and the beard under my chin, a kinda-sorta moustache, and the rest is just scruffy.

I might need to shave, but I will NEVER give up my sideburns, not ever!

You don't have enough options.

I have the full beard now, but I'm going to shave it all off. I'm usually clean-shaven, as I am often required to be fit-tested for breathing equipment of one kind or another.

I cant grow a beard, but I like them.

The best I can hope for is a trashy Camaro driving, mullet-sporter mustache

Eons ago I served a sentence in a plywood mill. There was an old gal from Arkansas who had worked there since WWII. She commented on my beard one day - "I have one of those too, but I don't call it a beard."

+1, the beard I wore through the late 80s looked all white trash, matched my mullet and my mustang GT, then Z28 and back to a GT,

then in 91' the GF said the mullet and beard looked like hair on a monkeys ass, so I burred the hair, shaved the beard, and kept the chops and calvery style stash, kept that till I got a new GF and married in 94', shaved off the stash and grew some hair,

in 99', two years divorced, the GF said the chops were tickling her thighs, so I shaved them off and went back to a burr and bought a new GT,

as of right now, I havn't shaved in a week, or had a hair cut in 5 months, hairs got streaks of grey and I'm starting to look like , without the rainbow colored fro and the current GF don't give a damn either way.

the length and style of my facial hair often.

Right now I am sporting this look.

I sport stubble 90% of the time. I often use the trimmer on my electric razor for that. Takes like 1/4 the time of shaving.

Just sideburns.

And just a side thought, is it me, or are goatee's just a mans way of hiding the fact that they're gaining a little weight?

Had a goatee untill everyone had one. Hey wait everyone had one then too. Now that I got fat and am 25lbs overweight and going bald. I definitely am NOT going to grow another one. It only looks cool on folks who are in shape, and have hair. I can get back in shape but ther eis no hope for my hair.
