Well today was a good day, we ambushed 2 buses took hostages and went to a bunker and then to a house on post.
First of all we had hostages in a bus at a EOD bunker and had a few hostages in the bunker. The FBI takedown of the bus was smooth and very violent  The takedown of my bunker was going good until I saw the team on my side and put a full mag of MP5 into them. The pointman took a simunitions round hit  .....ouch it left a blood cicle beween his eyesAt least I hit somebody its a pain to shoot a MP5 with a paintball mask. The moral of the story is: Oakleys look cool, but are not to used with simunitions. I could tell more, but it would take all night Below are some pics of the fun, If I get a chance I will take more tommorow during the building takdown.  The toys  And our Hostage getting the phone. Our terrorist negotiator deserves an Oscar for his performance as a Terrorist  And a happy FREEFALL surrounded by MP5s  |

Were you guys in the houses off bastone that they are tearing down? They had police blocking off the road near there and I wasn't sure what was going on? Might've just been a seperate incident.

It's a hell of a lot more fun playing the OPFOR than it is to be a good guy!
PS: Many a ARFCOMER has wanted to pop an FBI guy but FREE is the only one who can truely say he has!

JT makes a maks that has a flexible rubber lower portion that aids greatly in using iron sites. Not sure how it would stand up to Sims though.  Other manufactures have similar products available. |

Yea I felt bad for him.
I didnt realize they were only wearing Oakleys after I unloaded the first mag on them. He was cool about it, he told me as he was coming over the hill he was thinking:" I hope I dont get shot in the face" These FBI guys were pretty cool and we had a good time BSing with them afterword. FREE After

Most team members know what I was doing today.
 I'm glad you had a chance to have fun instead of trying to dodge live AK and RPG fire. You deserve it, FREE! Great pics! How does Simmunitions compare with Paintball or Airsoft regarding pain when hit? I'd imagine smaller rounds hurting more b/c of increased velocity. Paint balls don't hurt much. HS1 |

I know that feeling. During Phase II we were out at Range 68 I believe. The large cinderblock MOUT site. We all had brand new sims gear but we only had whatever eye pro we brought for the ranges. The last thing I wanted to have happen was to get shot in the face. Luckily I didn't get shot at all

Did it have the flexible lower or the did it have a hard plastic lower? I've got one with hard plastic on the bottom and I"m sure the rubber would make it a lot nicer, but would still be difficult to get a good site picture as you've still got something in the way. Ofcourse, if it keeps you from taking a sim to the teeth who gives a shit? Right? |

I've taken a few simunition rounds, mostly to the hand/finger areas. Those little bastards hurt. Looks like good training. But should'nt the throw phone be thrown?

Don't use your own weapon when training with the FBI. They have a bad habit of drop-kicking your pistols across the concrete.

Very interesting and looks like a helluva good time. However, I think I'd prefer cooler weather if given the choice. I see lots of sweating in those pics. LOL. Even the guys who are just sitting around.
