Peterson Trial Cost Over $700,000
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — A California judge has indicated that he will sentence convicted double-murderer Scott Peterson (search) to death.

Wearing a black suit, Peterson had entered the courtroom around 9 a.m. PST. His hands were bound in metal chains.

Peterson, 32, was found guilty in November of killing his wife and her fetus. A jury later recommended the death penalty.

Being jail is definitely not the way I would like to be spending my life. I had the "pleasure" of visiting Alcatraz Island National Park/Prison in the middle of San Francisco Bay, it was a depressing place even as tourist trap. That is as close to a prison/jail I ever want to get.

Wait... No if they let me keep the gun I use, I'll do it for free. Wait... No if they let me use my own gun and pay for the bullet... Wait... Those in prison is a terrible thing, their life is not their own. They are told when to do, how to do it. Definitely no fun in my book.
