Got BF3 for Christmas, but been playing SW:TOR and haven't had time to try it.  So I get it up and running tonight (Xbox) and start Semper Fidelis on the campaign.

But I can't get on top of the train....

I get to the bomb, climb out, and then jump to the next train.  After they shoot the window out, it says "A" on the screen which I'm assuming is supposed to make you climb the train (from the walkthroughs I've seen).  No matter how many times, how fast or how slow, I press "A" all that happens is I fall off the train and the game restarts.  FUCK THIS SHIT.

I have tried it a dozen times.  I had my wife try it.  I swapped batteries in the controller.  WTF?!?!?

Save yourself some unhappiness and play multiplayer.  BF3 multiplayer is where the game is.

I will play multiplayer, but I want to play the campaign too.

The campaign is garbage.



 

On that mission when you're hanging off the train you have to rapidly tap the A or "whatever it makes you press for the X-Box" button. Problem solved.

I had this too on another campaign mission, except the screen would go black and it still wanted me to hit A. Eventually it just kept restarting the cutscene until it finially worked.
