And, it is actually the correct answer.
The 2nd Amendment acknowledges a natural, god given, inalienable right. It doesn't give anything.

Technically it doesn't give the right, if that was so it could be legislated out of existence. It is every bodies God Given birthright. What it does is protect the right.
